A list of prop firms is only as good as its sourcing

There are a great many lists of prop firms and most of them cannot be checked. This page is a list, and it is also a method for judging the others, because the difference between a list you can act on and one you cannot is entirely in whether each entry carries the page it came from and the date it was read.

Three tests any list should pass

First, does every figure carry a source URL on the firm's own site? A figure without one is a claim about a claim. Second, does it carry a date? Prop firm terms change without notice, so an undated price or drawdown is not a statement about today. Third, are the largest firms in it, and if they are, did the author have a way to read pages that block automated access? Several major firms in this market return HTTP 403 to ordinary fetches.

What this list contains

Ten US futures firms: Topstep, Take Profit Trader, Bulenox, My Funded Futures, TradeDay, Tradeify, OneUp Trader, Earn2Trade, Uprofit and Funded Futures Family. Each entry carries quoted terms with a source and a date, and the quotations are re-checked against the live pages whenever the catalogue is rebuilt. The scope is deliberately narrow: US futures and simulated evaluations only, with no CFD or spot-FX prop offer in any market.

What it leaves out and why that is stated

Apex Trader Funding, Elite Trader Funding, TickTickTrader, Funded Futures Network and Pure Futures cannot be read from our infrastructure, so they carry no terms here. They are named under the index with the reason. That gap is the honest form of the third test above: this list can tell you what it cannot see, which is more than most lists in this market do.

Questions people ask about list of prop firms

Which prop firm should I choose?

This site does not recommend. It records what each firm publishes so you can choose on the rule that suits how you trade, which is usually the drawdown shape rather than the split.

Are all prop firms on this list futures firms?

Yes. The site covers US futures and simulated evaluations only; CFD and spot-FX prop offers are absent rather than narrowed.

Why do lists disagree with each other so much?

Because most are not reading firms' own pages on a stated date, and because terms in this market change frequently enough that two lists compiled months apart can both have been right.
